[Koharu is hanging up a dozen American flags over her front porch. Where did she get these flags? Where did she get the streamer she is pinning up between them? We shall blame the drones and move on. She can't reach this one spot and she turns, looking for anyone to help with that pretty drone smile of hers.

She is not even afraid of boys guys. Perfect Mayfield Koharu was never abused]

Oh could you help me, I just can't reach that high.

B. Heading to the fireworks

[ She's changed into a pretty sailor dress for the occasion and is carrying a bag full of blueberry muffins. She looks so happy--

Except she catches the eyes of a boy and looks nervous for a moment--

but she can't really remember why she should be nervous. Everything is perfect in Mayfield.]

I--yeah. I...remember. [But she also remembers playing in the park as a child and making her birthday cakes with Ukraine]

And I was hurt...back in Japan. And Sora--no wait, I've lived here all my life! I have, I remember it.

I remember...Kajiwara--no he was here too but moved away--or--no--U-Um...making bento. Cooking for Sora. A rifle--

Mother, all these memories are just silly, no one can pull a rifle from my chest.

[And it's so hard because doesn't she remember helping Koharu on her first day of school. Making her lunch everyday... No, they weren't real.

They were good memories, but they weren't real. Her family was Russian ...no Her family was Russia and Belarus. They didn't have parents, they only had her.]

......No. The town is playing with us. You are from Japan and I am Ukraine.

I've never tried. I'm good at mending and cooking--[Barely stops herself from mentioning that of course she was good at these things, Ukraine taught her]

No, it's really easy to learn the basic steps actually. I've taught lots of people how to do it too.

A bit of both actually.

A bought some things here and then got a lot of stuff from home back as well.
