[Koharu is hanging up a dozen American flags over her front porch. Where did she get these flags? Where did she get the streamer she is pinning up between them? We shall blame the drones and move on. She can't reach this one spot and she turns, looking for anyone to help with that pretty drone smile of hers.

She is not even afraid of boys guys. Perfect Mayfield Koharu was never abused]

Oh could you help me, I just can't reach that high.

B. Heading to the fireworks

[ She's changed into a pretty sailor dress for the occasion and is carrying a bag full of blueberry muffins. She looks so happy--

Except she catches the eyes of a boy and looks nervous for a moment--

but she can't really remember why she should be nervous. Everything is perfect in Mayfield.]

Oh! [She leaned back to look up at the sky. She loved fireworks, though they were better on the beach reflecting in the water. Only she'd never gone to the beach]

Yeah, it is, isn't it...? It's amazing. And so many people turned up too, it's nice to see the town all getting together.

Yes...[She smiles at him and spread her arms wide] The fireworks always make the town feel more important. Like the sky is so big but the fireworks are just here, for us. It's silly, of course they are. But Mayfield is really the best place, the most important place right? Even if we had no fireworks.

Mayfield'll always be the best town in all of America, I think! [ he laughs a little - ] But maybe I'm a little biased, Mayfield being my hometown and all.
